Jump into the Chatterbox Level A1/A2 

Jump into the Chatterbox is a collection of 6 interactive group games in one box that will allow the players to chatter away, putting into practice what they have learnt. With one box the entire class can play.

They are all games that will get children speak non-stop English while they play after only about 100 classes. The level is defined as A1/A2 (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). Some games can be played at a lower or more advanced level.

The games deal with numbers (0-100), spelling short words, words on family and understanding family relationships, questions and answers, describing people’s faces and following instructions.

Count on Me

What do we train: The numbers from 0-100 in additions and subtractions Number of players: 3 – 9 players Consists of: 8 “lottery cards”, 48 smaller cards with additions and subtractions and 96 markers

Spell the word

What do we train: Spell and recognize the spelling of short words in English Number of players: 3 – 9 players Consists of: 8 play cards, 20 smaller cards with 4-letter words on them, 64 markers

Meet My Family

What do we train: Words on family and explaining/understanding family relationships Number of players: 3 – 9 players Consists of: 8 play cards, 20 smaller cards with descriptions of familymembers on them, 40 markers

Whisper, Whosper

What do we train: Answering questions and formulating questions on the basis of a given answer Number of players: a minimum of 4 players Consists of: a total of 25 cards with questions

Funny Faces

What do we train: Describing people Number of players: 2 – 6 players Consists of: a total of 30 cards with faces, of which 10 with a complete, 10 with a half and 10 with no description of the face
